The Iranian Revolution of 1979 silenced and eliminated any whose beliefs didn’t neatly fit into the new parameters, whether or not those people presented an actual challenge. Despite their obedience to the new government, Baha’is were viciously persecuted. Young people were no exception. Mona’s story illustrates the power of faith and extraordinary inner perception and strength.
